James, (Auto Labs Performance Centre) goes way beyond just looking after your mechanical needs. I recently got a quote to change an EGR valve which was $2500 and James bought the part, replaced it, sent photos and videos showing replaced new for old part, had it ready for me to pick up in under a few hours and all for a third of the cost. And never had a problem with it since. There is no way I will go to anyone else to service or repair any mechanical problem with both my wife's and my car. He is truly honest and sincere with his customers. Great person and great mechanic. Highly recommend him to anyone without any doubt.

Absolutely great job i got my bt50 gearbox full upgraded and serviced puls he helped me out with so diagnostics form a previous code that kept coming up and putting my car into limp mode the upgrade on the gearbox was a very far price with recommended parts

This was my first time that I had used Auto Labs Performance Centre to have my car serviced. I was so impressed from start to finish. James was excellent at communicating with me about all aspects, including giving me a couple of quotes, which in these financial times was amazing and allowed me to keep a safe vehicle on the road while still being able to put food on the table. I received a detailed assessment of the work that had been done along with items that will need to be done at next service. As a woman I felt very confident that I had finally found a mechanic that was in my corner and not just someone that wanted to take my money and not see me again. So very happy I came across a Facebook post that James posted about his mechanical service business. We booked our car in for a minor service and his communication on cost and organising the booking was above and beyond!! Highly rated, used all genuine parts on my 2017 RS Focus, lots of photos taken along the way and sent to me, would highly recommend, very easy to deal with and friendly too. Have used other mechanics perviously and was unhappy, will only use Auto labs from here on out. I actually travelled over an hour and a half to have James look after my car.

Called around got ridiculous quotes BUT CALLED THIS GUY... he HELPED he knew I was driving up to Brisbane and he not only helped me but he also fixed my partners BT50 just days before the drive. I had a niggling vibration coming from the underside of the car which I could not find. I took it to Auto Lab and James was able to find the problem within 10 minutes and fixed it for me. While with the car,, James also checked the electronics using his OBD electronic reader and reset some of the fault codes which were highlighted.Very professional person and knows what he's doing, highly recommended.

I took a gamble on using a mechanic that I didn’t know because I was so sick of getting ripped off by the big name mechanic companies and I’m so glad I did. James is amazing, he has helped me out of some sticky situations and found affordable solutions to my mechanical problems without skimping on quality. He also explains everything he does and sends you photos of the old parts he has replaced so you can see for yourself that they need to be replaced.
